Margaret's story
Twenty five years ago my mum and Dad died within six weeks of each other. In my grief I looked up to heaven and said if there is any one up there please do something with my life. A few months later I had a dream with me and Mum in. The dream frightened me and I didn't understand it. Nine months later I was diognosed with leukaemia. As my husband and I left the hospital God spoke to me through the dream and told me it was not my time to die and at that point I became a Christian. Eighteen months later my leukaemia came back. I prayed and could not understand because I thought I was healed. The Lord spoke and said that
he had not said that I was healed at that point. He said that if he had healed me the first time the hospital would have seen it as a long remission but now he would heal me and they would see it as a miracle. My leukaemia was acute and I knew that unless this was God I would die.
Over the years I have given testimony to doctors, nurses and patients. l have been lead to pray with many. One doctor wrote in my notes, which were read out to me ,' Margaret attributes her good health to her faith in Jesus Christ and because her second remission is longer than her first she is probably right.' The main doctor that diagnosed me has watched with interest as I have shared my healing with him. He has been with me the whole way. After 18 years he said I was unique in his experience. After twenty two years he finally said in front of many nurses that this was a miracle.
The Lord has done many physical and emotional healings in our lives and that of others. And the whole of our extended family have become Christians. What a wonderful saviour!
